The present invention relates to a method for producing bio-degradable particles using methyl propionate as a dispersion solution. The methyl propionate used in the present invention is a non-halogen organic solvent and is classified as a fragrance ingredient additive used for foods so that the methyl propionate can be used to produce particles which are safe for the human body in a pharmaceutical industry and the like. The methyl propionate at least corresponds to or has better effects than ethyl acetate in terms of particle size, particle size distribution, shape, drug content rate, and residual organic solvent. Accordingly, the method of the present invention is expected to replace existing methods to produce particles using methylene chloride or ethyl acetate.
