The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing a malfunction of a cooling system of a green vehicle which diagnoses the overall malfunction state of an electronic water pump and a cooling system used for cooling a power converter in the green vehicle. The present invention includes a step of determining whether or not an EWP malfunction flag occurs; a step of determining whether or not a motor torque instruction exceeds a threshold when the EWP malfunction flag does not occur; a step of determining whether or not the cooling temperature of water is changed when the motor torque instruction exceeds the threshold; and a step of comparing the temperature of a power module with the junction estimation temperature of a power module when the cooling temperature does not change. The present invention provides a method for diagnosing the malfunction of the cooling system in the green vehicle which is characterized by confirming the malfunction of the cooling system when the temperature of a power module exceeds junction estimation temperature of the power module. |
