The present invention is aimed at providing of a method for manufacturing a steel wire improved with ductility and twist properties while having a tensile strength strong enough to be used for a tire cord and a saw wire and a decreased surface tension residual stress without a decline in a surface hardness. Moreover, the steel wire comes in contact with two or more roll surfaces, and the rolls are arranged to grant bending force toward different directions to the steel wire. The bending force is granted to an opposite direction of a curvature formed on the steel wire. |
