PURPOSE: A controlling apparatus for can communication is provided to prevent the abuse of time-out error codes in another control device for a CAN communication by checking the time-out for a corresponding control device when a voltage value of a battery belongs to a common operable voltage value. CONSTITUTION: A memory(12) records a range of voltage. In the range of the voltage, the controllers of a vehicle are operable commonly. A voltage measurement unit(14) measures a voltage value of a battery, and a communication unit(16) communicates a CAN message with another control device. If the voltage value of the battery is included in the voltage value range which is operable commonly, a controller(18) checks the time-out for the other control device. |
