摘要 An adaptive frequency block hopping system, a hopping method thereof, a base station apparatus in a mobile communication system using an OFDM method are provided to transmit data using the optimum hopping block size in each terminal by suggesting an adaptive frequency block hoppling method in consideration of a diversity gain and an SNR. An effective signal to noise ratio of a receiving signal is estimated(410). An average error probability using a diversity gain and an effective SNR is calculated(420). Whether the minimum average error probability is obtained is determined(430). The optimum hopping block size is determined by using the estimated effective SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio)(440). If the optimum hopping block size is determined, the hopping block with the optimum size is comprised(450). The hopping block is transmitted according to the determined optimum hopping block size(460).
