The present invention relates to a method to collect related names in a map providing sever and a method to search a route using the name and, more specifically, to a method of collecting related names which considers a class and a place name included in a name to be searched, and to a method to search a route using the name. The method to store the related names in a map providing sever comprises: a step of collecting related names including a syllable forming at least one among a place name, a class, a name, a store name, and a number; a step of comparing the place name or the class included in the collected related name with the corresponding place name or class included in the previously established search names, when the collected related names include a place name or a class; and a step of selecting the related name as a candidate related name, when the place name or the class included in the collected related name agrees with the place name or class included in the previously established search names. |
