A bag making machine for making a bag with an angled bottom. Body materials of an upper and a lower layer are overlapped and fed lengthwise. A bottom gusset material is fed to the body of one layer and laid on the outer surface thereof, one side edge of the bottom gusset is arranged along one side edge of the body. After the overlap of body materials and bottom gusset feed, the bottom gusset and the body material of the other layer are bonded at the one side edge thereof. As the body is fed thereafter, the body material of one or the other layer and the bottom gusset are guided by a mechanism of body and bottom gusset material near one side edge of the body, the body material of one or the other layer is bent to combine the bottom gusset material with both body material layers. |
