In a method for a membership service providing server connected to a user terminal to provide a membership service, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for providing a membership service, including the steps of: a) receiving a membership service application request including user information from a user terminal; b) receiving and registering representative card information of a representative card used in a membership service from the user terminal; c) receiving affiliated company selection information of an affiliated company which is to be provided with the membership service through the representative card among a plurality of affiliated companies which is provided with the membership service, from the user terminal; d) matching and storing the user information, the affiliated company selection information and the representative card information; and e) providing at least one of point and coupon provided from the affiliated company for a user according to the user information, if a membership service request is received through the representative card from an affiliated company server corresponding to the affiliated company selection information.
