A method of determining the presence of a Six Transmembrane Epithelial Antigens of the Prostate-1 (STEAP-1) protein in a biological sample suspected of containing said STEAP-1 protein, said method comprising exposing said biological sample to a 89Zirconium-labeled anti-STEAP-1 antibody and determining binding of said 89Zirconium-labeled anti-STEAP-1 antibody to said protein in said biological sample, wherein binding of said 89Zirconium-labeled anti-STEAP-1 antibody to said protein is indicative of the presence of said STEAP-1 protein in said biological sample, wherein the method is conducted in a patient suspected of having metastatic prostate cancer with metastasis to the bones.
