The present invention relates to a control method and system for moving an electric vehicle in the absence of a driver due to the vehicle being parked or similar reasons. An embodiment of the present invention includes: a setting stage where a driver sets conditions for enabling the electric vehicle to move in the absence of the driver; a confirmation stage for confirming whether signals requesting the electric vehicle to be moved are inputted from the outside of the vehicle; a judging stage for determining whether or not the state of charge (SOC) of the battery of the electric vehicle is full to be able to operate the motor when the signal for requesting the electric vehicle to be moved is received; a detecting stage for detecting external power and the direction of the power for the movement of the electric vehicle if the SOC is of a full charge state which is able to operate the motor; and an operating stage for operating the motor to move the electric vehicle toward the direction of the power when the power is detected. |
