A fixing device includes a tub-shaped film; a plate-shaped heater; a thermal conduction member; a support member; a control member which controls both end parts to allow both end parts of the heater not to move from the busbar direction of the film to the thickness direction of the heater with regard to the support member; and a pressing member. The state of the fixing device is changed into a first state that a tonner image is enough fixed by the pressing force of a nip part or a second state that the pressing force of the nip part is less than the pressing force of the first state. In the surface of the support member, the center part of the film in the busbar direction of the film is closer to the thermal conduction member compared to the end part of the film. |
