The present invention relates to a sliding window having an air-tightness maintaining device for maintaining the air-tightness easily by blocking the gap between a pair of adjacent windows by moving the windows by a certain distance closely to each other in the horizontal direction, which is at right angles to the sliding direction of the windows, when the windows are being locked after being closed. To do so, the present invention includes: a window frame (110) which includes multiple rails (111) in the longitudinal direction; a window (120) which is combined to be able to slide on the rails; a locking unit (200) which is placed at one side of the window facing the window frame when the window is closed and locks or unlocks the window depending on the operation of a handle (201); a slide member (300) which is installed in the upper and the lower part of the window, is connected to the handle through a rod bar (301) in order to be operated while being linked with the handle, reciprocates in the sliding direction of the window, and includes a guide pin (303) at one side; and a horizontal movement unit which includes a guide groove into which the guide pin is inserted, moves following the movement of the slide member, and moves the window horizontally in the direction at right angles to the sliding direction. When the locking unit is being locked, the window is closely attached to an adjacent window in order to maintain the air-tightness. |
