The present invention relates to an improved absorptive hemostatic material and a method for producing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an absorptive hemostatic material and a method for producing the same, wherein the absorptive hemostatic material exhibits significantly improved hemostatic and wound-healing effects compared to existing ORC single materials by including haemostatic effect-reinforcing components, biodegradable polymers, and oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC) which is absorptive fabric or knitting.
