The present invention relates to a cathode for a molten fuel cell and a method for manufacturing the same. An embodiment of the present invention regarding the cathode for a molten carbonate fuel cell and a method for manufacturing the same includes: a first cathode layer having air holes having average sizes ranging from 0.5 to 2μm; a second cathode layer having air holes having average sizes ranging from 5 to 20μm. The cathode layers are made of nickel foam (Ni-foam), and the Ni-foam has nickel oxide (NiO) coated by LiCoO2. According to the present invention, a cathode, expected to reduce a solubility by a simple manufacturing process, can be manufactured, thus expecting an increase in the lifespan of the molten carbonate fuel cell.
