PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered body for a flash discharge tube capable of achieving life prolongation of the flash discharge tube by dispersing collision energy applied to the inner wall of a sealed body of the flash discharge tube due to the ion impact on the sintered body for the flash discharge tube and by reducing the generation rate of cracks created on the inner wall of the sealed body, and also to provide a flash discharge tube equipped with the sintered body for the flash discharge tube and a method of manufacturing the sintered body for the flash discharge tube.SOLUTION: A sintered body for a flash discharge tube according to the present invention is provided in a cathode opposite to an anode of the flash discharge tube. At least a part of the surface facing the anode side of the flash discharge tube is formed in a curved surface.
