PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which includes a phosphor-containing layer and a lens in a predetermined shape formed without using a metal mold, and a method of manufacturing the light-emitting device in which a phosphor-containing layer and a lens in a predetermined shape are formed without using a metal mold.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a substrate; a light-emitting element arranged on the substrate; a resin frame body which is disposed on the substrate, has an opening penetrating from the upper surface to the lower surface and accommodates the light-emitting element in the opening; a resin layer which covers the light-emitting element in the opening of the resin frame body, in which a part of the outer periphery thereof comes into contact with the side surface of the opening, and which has a convex shape protruding more upward than the upper surface of the resin frame body, and contains a phosphor; and a resin lens which is arranged apart from the substrate, and covers the resin layer, in which a part of the bottom surface thereof comes into contact with the upper surface of the resin frame body, and which has a convex shape protruding in the direction opposite to the bottom surface. |
