PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly perform a belt return control that transfers a gear ratio of a continuously variable transmission into the most deceleration side, without deteriorating durability of a belt.SOLUTION: When a vehicle 10 stops while a shift position SP is in a position for forward traveling such as a D position, a belt return control (step S140) is performed after starting a pressure reduction control (step S120) for reducing hydraulic Pc1 supplied from a hydraulic control unit to a clutch C1 of a forward-reverse switching mechanism. Accordingly, the groove width of a primary pulley is increased and the groove width of a secondary pulley is decreased in the state where the torque transmitted from an engine to a primary shaft is greatly reduced, and thereby a gear ratio of a CVT can be transferred to the most deceleration side without deteriorating durability of a belt. |
