PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass capable of inhibiting, even if holes exist on an oxygen ion conductor, the mingling, within the holes, of an oxygen-containing gas and an associated gas by sealing the holes and of realizing performances required for the oxygen ion conductor; an electrochemical cell; and an electrochemical device.SOLUTION: The provided glass comprises, in terms of oxide-converted equivalents, at least 51 mass% and no more than 61 mass%, at least 32 mass% and no more than 38 mass%, at least 4 mass% and no more than 8 mass%, at least 1 mass% and no more than 4 mass%, and at least 0.3 mass% and no more than 0.7 mass% of Ba, Si, Zr, Al, and Na, respectively. The ratio, with respect to the content Mof the oxide of Ba, of the content Mof the oxide of Si (M/M) is 0.56 or above and 0.77 or below. |
