PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a conventional vehicle headlamp, it is difficult to obtain a light distribution pattern excellent in remote visibility in combination with a low-beam light distribution pattern.SOLUTION: This vehicle headlamp comprises a first lamp unit 3 and a second lamp unit 2. The first lamp unit 3 comprises a shade 33. The shade 33 has a vertical edge 330 and a recessed edge 331. The first lamp unit 3 irradiates the front of a vehicle with an ADB light distribution pattern P having a vertical cutoff line CL4 and a protrusive light distribution pattern P1. The second lamp unit 2 irradiates the front of the vehicle with a low-beam light distribution pattern LP. As a result, a light distribution pattern excellent in remote visibility can be obtained in combination with the low-beam light distribution pattern LP. |
