PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of releasing heat in a slide-contact part between a developing roller and a seal member.SOLUTION: A developing device (developing cartridge 28) includes a housing 50 for storing a developer, a developing roller 31 arranged to face an opening 52 formed in the housing 50 and being for carrying the developer supplied from the opening 52, a seal member (side seal member 61) which is a seal member arranged between the developing roller 31 and the housing 50, to suppress the developer from being leaked from the space between the developing roller 31 and the housing 50 and has a fabric member 61B where a plurality of fibers extending in a first direction and a plurality of fibers extending in a second direction cross each other, and a heat radiation member (layer thickness regulation blade 32) coming into contact with the seal member, to radiate the heat of the seal member. The heat radiation member is in contact with the end surfaces of the fibers of the fabric member 61B. |
