PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which provides information about possibility of success in migration of an existing system to a virtualization environment, and improves efficiency in virtualization environment migration operation and cost reduction.SOLUTION: A possibility of success in migration calculation server 100 executes the steps of: processing to receive properties of a computer which is an object of migration to a virtualization environment and information about a method of migration processing from an input/output terminal 200, and acquire information about possibility of success in the migration processing by retrieving a record whose information about properties and a method of migration processing matches from a first table 125; processing to receive information about resource change expected in the computer when performing the migration to virtualization environment from the input/output terminal 200, retrieve a record whose information about existence of resource change matches from a second table 127, and acquire information about an influence degree in the record; and processing to calculate possibility of success in migration by multiplying the acquired information about possibility of success by the information about the influence degree, and output the possibility. |
