<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument and method for inspection of an immersion nozzle support lever which can inspect any deviation from drawing dimensions quite simply and evaluate properness or improperness of use of the lever in a short time.SOLUTION: An inspection instrument is for inspecting deviations of an immersion nozzle support lever from drawing dimensions and includes a pin to be inserted into a supporting point shaft hole of the lever, an instrument body portion holding the pin, a pressing part which is fixed to the instrument body portion and comes in contact with one side of the lever supported with the pin and an inspection portion arranged on the other side of the lever which is supported with the pin on the instrument body portion in a freely removable way. The inspection portion fixes the lever, together with the pin and the pressing part, when the lever is acceptable and forms a clearance between the other side of the lever and the inspection portion when the lever is rejectable.</p> |
