The present invention relates to a screen division method for an interface device between a mobile communication terminal and a navigation monitor installed on a navigation monitor cradle and using the mounted mobile communication terminal to control a display operation of the navigation monitor including a step for the interface device receiving an input of a user setting screen division mode; and a step for selectively transmitting screen display control information to the navigation monitor so that the navigation monitor displays screen information of the mobile communication terminal as a setting sub-screen according to the input user setting screen division mode. According to the screen division method for the interface device between the mobile communication terminal and the navigation monitor, the screen information transmitted from the mobile communication terminal is displayed simultaneously with screen information (for example, navigation information) originally displayed on the navigation monitor on a main screen or a sub-screen on the navigation monitor, and thus a user can control various functions of the mobile communication terminal without any collision while watching the screen information originally displayed on the navigation monitor. |
