The present invention provides a method and system for measuring the location of a terminal. The method includes the steps of: enabling a mobility management entity to receive a subscriber location request message from a gateway mobile location server; enabling the mobility management entity to obtain identification information of a base station to which a target terminal belongs through paging; enabling the mobility management entity to request the location information of the base station from a serving mobile location server; and enabling the mobility management entity to return the location information of the base station to the gateway mobile location server if the location information of the base station is received from the serving mobile location server.
