PURPOSE: A method of simulation testing a frozen sea water tub alternate ship of a towing tank by using a block float is provided to perform a simulation testing the ship for the pole airline at the frozen sea water tub by using a general towing tank. CONSTITUTION: A method of simulation testing a frozen sea water tub alternate ship of a towing tank by using a block float is as follows. The block float is buoyed on a towing tank(2). The block float is formed by combining two block floats corresponding to a flat ice in order to drive a model ship(3). The failure mechanism having flat board ice is driven to the similar form as the block float. The unit block float has one shape selected from square, right-angled triangle, regular triangle and crenellated shape. |
