PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently perform sideways irradiation even if a light guide body is arranged so as to vertically extend, in a vehicle lighting appliance having the light guide body.SOLUTION: Light from a light source 32 is made incident to the light guide body 34 arranged so as to vertically extend from a lower end face of the light guide body, and emitted from a front face 34a of the light guide body. Next, a salient step 34s2 for deflecting and emitting a part of the light guided into the light guide body 34 toward the right side is formed at the front face 34a of the light guide body 34. Then, sideways irradiation light is obtained by the emitted light from the salient step 34s2. |
