PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment agent which has a good hair shape transformation efficiency while reducing hair damages in permanent wave processes.SOLUTION: The hair treatment agent uses as a pretreating agent for permanent waves or a first agent for permanent waves, in which glycerol derivative (I) expressed by the following general formula (I), or polyoxypropylene alkyl ether (II) expressed by the following general formula (II) is compounded in the total amount of 4.0 mass% or less. Gly-[O{(PO)x(EO)y}-(BO)zH](I) [Gly expresses Glycerin residue excluding a hydroxyl group, PO expresses an oxypropylene group, EO expresses an oxyethylene group, BO expresses an oxy butylene group, x is 3 or more to 7 or less, y is 5 or more to 10 or less, and z is 1 or more to 5 or less.] [n expresses 13 or more to 20 or less, and m expresses that the average addition number of moles is 10 or more to 20 or less.] |
