PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reliably connecting a waste toner storage container with a belt cleaning unit.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a waste toner cartridge 101 that stores a waste toner recovered by a belt cleaning unit 55, and a process unit 23 that supports a plurality of cartridges and the waste toner cartridge 101. The process unit 23 is configured to be moved between an inner position and an outer position, and is configured to be moved between a contact position and a separation position, while arranged at the inner position; and the waste toner cartridge 101 is configured to be displaced between a connection position and a release position, while the process unit 23 is arranged at the contact position. The process unit 23 is configured to be movable between the contact position and the separation position, while the waste toner cartridge 101 is located at the release position. |
