PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for improving the function of tendon and ligament, pharmaceutical composition, food and feedstuff containing the same, characterized by high safety, low risk of health damage from long term ingestion, and low production cost.SOLUTION: Provided is an agent for improving tendon and ligament function, where the agent includes, as the effective component, one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of: one or more species of peptides being a hydrolysis product of an insoluble protein obtained by removing lipid, soluble proteins and collagen from fish aortic bulb; proline-glycine (Pro-Gly) dipeptide; and salts and derivatives thereof, and the agent enhances proliferation of tendon and ligament cells. |
