PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire gripping device, capable of exercising an efficient gripping power without increasing the size and weight of the device.SOLUTION: A coated wire 20 gripped by a wire gripping device 1 is indicated by a virtual line. A base part 6 of the wire gripping device 1 is pivotally supported by link pieces 8 and 9 so as to be able to oscillate downwardly. An oscillation end 8a of the link piece 8 and an oscillation end 9a of the link piece 9 are both connected to an operation arm 10, thus, forming a parallel link. A state in which the coated wire 20 is held by an upper side wire gripping body 2 (a first wire gripping body) and a lower side wire gripping body 4 (a second wire gripping body) is shown. Of these, the upper side wire gripping body 2 is fixed to the base part 6. Contrary, the lower side wire gripping body 4 is connected to the link piece 8 and the link piece 9 so as to be able to move forward and back with regard to the upper side wire gripping body 2. |
