<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently manufacturing high quality acrylic carbon fiber bundle.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon fiber bundle constituted by single fibers with a kidney shape cross section having a major axis a of 5μm to 16μm, a minor axis b of 3μm to 10μm, a groove depth c of 0.1μm to 3μm and an ellipticity a/b of 1.3 to 1.8. There is provided a method of manufacturing the carbon fiber bundle including a flame-resistant process A of heat treating an acrylic fiber bundle in an oxidizing atmosphere and a flame-resistant process B of heat treating by 2 or more heating rollers and has a flame-resistant process of contacting with heating roller groups of the flame-resistant process A and the flame-resistant process B.</p> |
