<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cold rolling equipment and a cold rolling method capable of enlarging a range of production and enhancing productivity by increasing the maximum plate thickness of a steel tape which can be produced.SOLUTION: The cold rolling equipment comprises a cold rolling machine for producing a steel tape on which a plate thickness minus part where plate thickness is thinner than that of a steady plate thickness part is formed by rolling on at least one end of the steady plate thickness part which becomes product. The plate thickness of the steady plate thickness part is thicker than the maximum plate thickness which can be processed by a weld machine for connecting an end of the steel tape provided in following process by the cold rolling machine to other steel tape or tie, and the plate thickness of the plate thickness minus part is equal to or less than the maximum plate thickness which can be processed by the weld machine.</p> |
