PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of flow entries held by a communication node.SOLUTION: A communication node comprises: an entry storage unit capable of storing an entry that associates a plurality of matching conditions with common processing contents to be applied to a packet in conformity with any of the matching conditions; and a packet processing unit that searches for an entry having a matching condition in conformity with a reception packet from the entry storage unit and processes the reception packet.
