PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and a control method that are capable of outputting an image matched with characteristics of a display device.SOLUTION: An image processing device of the present invention is a multifunction peripheral 100 connectable with one or more display devices. The multifunction peripheral 100 comprises an acquisition unit 104, and a conversion unit 106. The acquisition unit 104 acquires first information indicating characteristics of a display device. The conversion unit 106 converts input image data of the image processing device into display image data matched with the characteristics of the display device on the basis of the first information. |
