CLASSIFICATION MECHANISM AND CLASSIFYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classification mechanism capable of improving classification accuracy with a simple and small-sized structure.SOLUTION: A classification mechanism includes: a body casing 1; a classification rotor 2 provided in the inside of the body casing 1; a single rotation shaft 7 equipped with the classification roto 2; and a single driving source 10 for rotation-driving the single rotation shaft 7. The classification rotor 2 has a plurality of classification chambers 11 and 12 disposed in parallel in an axial direction of the single rotation shaft 7. Each of the plurality of classification chambers 11 and 12 has airflow discharging means for discharging an airflow from a center portion thereof. The classification chambers 11 and 12 are configured to have different diametrical dimensions from each other.
