PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish synchronization between plural three-dimensional video display apparatuses in each of which a refresh rate is changed and three-dimensional glasses.SOLUTION: A video display apparatus generates an output video picture having a frame rate different from that of an input video signal. The video display apparatus includes: a synchronizing timing generating unit that generates a synchronization start time of the output video picture from the input video signal; a synchronization determining unit that determines whether or not the output video picture is to be synchronized at the synchronization start time on the basis of the input video signal; and a synchronization conversion unit that, when it is determined that the output video picture is to be synchronized at the synchronization start time, synchronizes the output video picture at the synchronization start time. |
