PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation confirmation device and an operation confirmation method of a memory capable of accurately confirming an operation state of a memory during the operation of a device accessing the memory, while suppressing a time required for confirming the operation.SOLUTION: An operation confirmation device of a memory (100) according to the present invention includes: a storage area setting unit (110) that disperses and sets a plurality of storage areas for storing specific pattern data for confirming operation over the entire storage area of a memory to be confirmed in its operation; a writing and reading unit (120) that sequentially performs periodical writing and reading of the specific pattern data in/from the plurality of storage areas set by the storage area setting unit; a determination unit (130) that determines whether or not pattern data read from the plurality of storage areas by the writing and reading unit coincides with the specific pattern data; and a determination result output unit (140) that creates and outputs information indicating a result of the determination by the determination unit. |
