PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll medium supporting device and a recording device capable of positioning and supporting a plurality of roll medium of similar width sizes without changing shaft members.SOLUTION: A roll sheet support device includes: a shaft member 60 inserted into a roll sheet along an axis of the roll sheet; and a flange portion including an insertion hole into which the shaft member 60 can be inserted and an engagement portion engageable with the shaft member 60, and capable of supporting the roll sheet from an axial direction of the shaft member 60. The shaft member 60 includes: fourth engagement grooves 73d and sixth engagement grooves 73f engaged with the engagement portion and positioning the flange portion in the axial direction; and fifth engagement grooves 73e engaged with the engagement portion at different positions both in the axial direction and a circumferential direction of the shaft member 60 from those of the fourth engagement grooves 73d and the sixth engagement groove 73f and positioning the flange portion in the axial direction, in a state in which the shaft member 60 is inserted into the insertion hole. |
