PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To chuck a shaft-like article without problem, even if there is an inclination in the shaft-like article, by a transfer method of the shaft-like article including a process of pulling up the shaft-like article inserted into a support hole in a tray device and erectly mounted by upwardly projecting its circular shaft part, by chucking its circular shaft part by a chuck device.SOLUTION: A two-claw structure of oppositely arranging claws 111, that is, a structure having a mechanism of opening/closing its respective claws 111 by moving in the opposite direction, is used for a chuck device 100. When the chuck device 100 is viewed from the front, both claws 111 are formed larger in width W1 of a fastening surface 113 than an outer diameter of a circular shaft part 13 so that both ends or both-end near parts of the fastening surface 113 turning to the circular shaft part 13 can be opposed to a mating side claw 111 by overhanging to the outside across the circular shaft part 13. The fastening surface 113 is formed in a recessed shape so as to enclose the circular shaft part 13 when chucking the circular shaft part 13. |
