PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air conditioner capable of setting the external static pressure of an indoor unit to a desired value without restricting the installation position of the indoor unit.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a casing having a suction port 9 and a diffuser 10; an indoor blower 1 attracting air from the suction port 9, and discharging the air from the diffuser 10; an indoor heat exchanger 3 provided in an air passage between the suction port 9 and the diffuser 10 within the casing; a drive device 2 driving the indoor blower 1 to rotate; an output control device 4 controlling the control unit 2 to control a flow volume of the indoor blower 1; and a static pressure detection device 5 detecting an external static pressure of the casing. The suction port 9 is provided in each of one or more of a front surface, a back surface, a right side surface, a left side surface, and a lower surface of the casing, and the output control device 4 controls the air volume of the indoor blower 1 so that the external static pressure of the casing is equal to a set value. |
