PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a refrigerant stagnation phenomenon without unnecessarily heating a compressor.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit includes: a heat exchanger for causing heat exchange between refrigerant and outdoor air; a compressor for compressing the refrigerant; a heater for heating the compressor; an outdoor temperature detector for detecting an outdoor temperature; and a control device. The control device switches a heating control using the heater to multiple stages on the basis of the outdoor temperature detected by the outdoor temperature detector if the compressor stops operating. If the outdoor temperature Ta is higher than a first outdoor temperature α, the control device executes a heater control A. If the outdoor temperature Ta is equal to or higher than a second outdoor temperature &bgr; and equal to or lower than the first outdoor temperature α, the control device executes a heater control B. If the outdoor temperature Ta is lower than &bgr;, the control device executes a heater control C. |
