<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily release a seat belt from a body for protecting an occupant in the case of an automobile accident.SOLUTION: An automobile seat belt device is a three-point type seat belt constructed such that the fixing and releasing device of a door side is set on leg parts divided back and forth, one side is fixed to rear leg part to be rotatable, the other is fixed to/released from the front leg part, an L-shaped empty groove is formed in the front leg part, a horizontally long hole is formed in a fixing member, a driving pin is inserted into the empty groove and the hole to be movable therein, and by operating an operation wheel having the driving pin outside the fixing member, the fixing member and the front leg part are fixed or released. In emergency such as an accident requiring urgent and quick response, the protection of an occupant is assured by releasing the occupant from the binding seat belt.</p> |
