<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic valve which safely, inexpensively, simply, and automatically drains a channel port of rainwater to be supplied to a power generator by pressure in a hydraulic power generation system using the rainwater accumulated on a rooftop.SOLUTION: Volume and weight are set so that rainwater accumulated on a rooftop floats by buoyant force when the rainwater reaches a set water level. A value consists of: a circular or polygonal annular main valve 1; and an auxiliary valve 2. Specific gravity of a valve body is set to 0.1 or more and less than 1.0 by manufacturing the valve by material with less specific gravity than that of the rainwater or providing a cavity inside. The auxiliary valve 2 is installed on the outer periphery of the main valve 1, consists of a water impervious plate 2-1 and a projected floating body 2-2 which floats the water impervious plate 2-1, and has a breakwater plate 5 which prevents an erroneous operation of valve on-off due to waves on a rainwater level on the outer periphery of the projected floating body 2-2. In addition, the water impervious plate 2-1 prevents the erroneous operation since a water level for starting floating of itself is set, and the water impervious plate 2-1 floats at the set water level or lower depending on relation between weight of itself and water pressure when the water pressure is directly applied to the main valve 1.</p> |
