PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor capable of detecting the fact that the coins are stored in such a state as the state that the coins more than "the minimum required number" exist in a coin tube when the power source is turned to ON from OFF.SOLUTION: The coin processor includes: a coin storage cylinder for storing received coins; and a coin dispensing unit for dispensing the coins inside the coin storage cylinder as changes, and can be connected to a change auxiliary machine for dispensing the change coins. The coin processor further includes: a sensor capable of dividing the number of coins inside the coin storage cylinder into three cases of change coins available, quasi-change coins available, and change coins not available; and control unit for switching the payment of the coins from the coin dispensing unit to the change coin auxiliary machine when the sensor detects that the number of coins inside the coin storage cylinder reaches the number of the case where the quasi-change coin is available, and for outputting to the outside the information showing that the change coins are not available when the sensor detects that the number of coins inside the coin storage cylinder reaches the number of the case where the change coins are not available. |
