<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a flowerpot with a lava-like appearance excellent in performances concerning water retention, permeability, and drainage, and to provide a flowerpot manufactured in the method.SOLUTION: A raw body of a flowerpot having a recessed portion for planting is molded by mixing clay for baking and organic fiber for making gaps. After being dried, the raw body is baked in a kiln. Burnt traces of the organic fiber for making gaps form water-permeable gaps and produce a flowerpot with a lava-like surface appearance.</p> |
