PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate test result without damaging an electrode pad of a wiring board in an electric contact configured to electrically come into contact with the wiring board by bringing the tip of a contact portion into contact with a substantially plane-shaped electrode pad, and a socket for an electric component.SOLUTION: An electric contact 14 has a contact part 21 in contact with a substantially plane-shaped electrode pad 1a of a wiring board 1. The contact part has the tip 27 which is formed in a substantially plane shape. The electric contact 14 electrically comes into contact with the wiring board by bringing the tip into face contact with the electrode pad. |
