PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of urging a user to detach a storage container through simple constitution.SOLUTION: A recording device 11 includes: a recording part which records on a medium S; a housing part 12 which houses the recording part; a drawer unit 16 which has a handgrip part 38 and is housed in the housing part 12 to be drawn out; a cutter which cuts the medium S in the housing part 12; and a storage container 17 which has a storage part 28 for storing cut pieces of the medium S produced during cutting by the cutter and is attached detachably to the housing part 12. The storage container 17 is attached to the housing part 12 to cover the handgrip part 38 of the drawer unit 16 housed in the housing part 12, and detached from the housing part 12 to expose the handgrip part 38 of the drawer unit 16 housed in the housing part 12. |
