PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket cylinder cleaning device capable of reducing loss of ink solvent to be supplied on a surface of a blanket cylinder of an offset printer.SOLUTION: A blanket cylinder cleaning device 10 includes: a solvent supply mechanism 20 for, from each of supply ports 21 aligned in an axial direction of a blanket cylinder 2, supplying ink solvent 11 to a surface of the blanket cylinder; a recording unit 30 for recording at least one of information concerning axial direction distribution of a pattern area rate about patterns having been printed by an offset printer, and information concerning axial direction distribution of the amount of supply of ink; a control unit 40 for, on the basis of at least one of the information recorded in the recording unit 30, controlling the amount of supply of the ink solvent, from the respective supply ports of the solvent supply mechanism; and a transfer target holding mechanism 50 for pressing a transfer target 51 against the blanket cylinder, and making ink on the surface of the blanket cylinder dissolved by the ink solvent be transferred to the transfer target. |
