PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable output of a captured image with improved image quality.SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus of an embodiment, a storage unit previously stores a coefficient designed so that a result of convolution with a second image obtained by deteriorating a first image through a predetermined deterioration process is brought closer to the first image using learning for each position of a pixel set referred to in the convolution. The coefficient is read from the storage unit corresponding to a position of a pixel set referred to in an input image captured through an optical system, and the coefficient is convoluted with the pixel set, thereby generating an output image.
