PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program that can be applied in a multi-step blur additional processing on images so that unwanted generation of blur images and additional blur processing can be eliminated, ensuring the image storage area and shortening of processing time.SOLUTION: When an imaging section 100 acquires information about the distance to a photogenic subject for each prescribed area within an imaging field angle, a blur additional amount determination section 201 determines a blur additional amount for each area on the basis of the information acquired. Then, a blur image generation control section 202 determines the required degree of blur and the number of blur images to be generated on the basis of the blur additional amount determined, an image processing section 203 generates blur images in required number, and then an image synthesizing section 205 synthesizes the respective images. |
